GENERAL GUIDELINES

New Students may arrive 15 minutes early for your first visit to fill out a waiver.
• Ask + we’ll give you guidance. Follow your body's intuition + comfort.
• Drop-in's are welcome to all classes.
• Pre-registrations is recommended for all classes + workshops.
• Cancellations allowed 5 min. before class starts.
• No calls / texting in class.
• Always be prepared, punctual + present.
• Dress comfortably in clothes that do not limit your range of motion, clean of fragrances.
• Bare feet only inside the studio + socks are not recommended during practice.
• We encourage having your own mat.
• We have community props free of charge.
• Props retail in our boutique.
• Inform your teacher of any health conditions, prior to class starting time.
• Relax + enjoy your experience!

YOGA IS NEW TO ME. WOULD I BLEND IN A YOGA CLASS?

Welcome! You don't have to touch your toes or wear matching outfits to practice yoga. Yoga is about honoring where you are and our Blooming Life community upholds this belief so it is safe environment for you to be you! Your mat is your experimental laboratory to breathe and play. Check out Yoga Basics + New To Yoga Series for more in-depth guidance, yet all classes are open to all people where you may leave feeling successful and inspired. 

It is a misconception that a flexible person can perform yoga postures better than a stiff person. Yoga aims to develop one's alignment and awareness through breathing and subtle adjustments made to the body - the skin, muscles, tendons, and mind while in each yoga posture (asana). The aim is to create vitality and stability and practice strength and flexibility within each posture. Doing poses perfectly is not emphasized in our classes. Learning to fully embody your own practice, honor your body, and stay curious as to what this practice has to offer each new day is the emphasis. Our teachers guide you toward the quality of the movement over quantity of movement. Gaining flexibility, strength, and stability does make achieving postures more easeful. Everyone starts somewhere... Blooming Life honors you here and now!

WHICH CLASS SHOULD I ATTEND?

All students regardless of age are encouraged to attend most classes, yet please refer to class descriptions. Please contact us with any questions or recommendations.

INJURIES + PHYSICAL CONDITIONS

Please let your teacher know before class about any physical or medical conditions concerns, as well as if adjustments/touching is in your Practice. You know your body and are solely responsible to honor your limits and safety.

CHILDREN + FAMILIES

Blooming Life Yoga's aim is to make yoga a part of daily life. Fees apply to all ages to honor the teacher and the space. Please bring 'attention keeping' projects so youngsters will remain on their mats, if appropriate. 

REGISTRATION

Arrive early, check in at the desk, and settle in simply. If you reserve a spot and do not show, you are still debited for that attendance.

CLASSES: Pre-registration is not required for any of our drop-in classes. We simply suggest you give yourself plenty of time to settle into the space.

WORKSHOPS are non-refundable. Pre-registration is highly encouraged in advance for all workshops, special events and retreats. There is a limited number of people required for each workshop. Single and business members receive 15% off all workshops!

POLICIES

Upon purchase, all passes have an expiration date. All purchases are non-transferable and non-refundable.

Class cancellations made less than 2 hours prior to your scheduled class session are non-refundable but may be rescheduled. A class or workshop with a 'No Show' will result in a non-refundable session. Workshop cancellations received less than 48 hours to your scheduled session will be subject to the full session cost. To cancel appointments, please log into your MindBody Account or email us at [email protected]. We are very happy to help you out!

REFUNDS

As a small business, we can not and do not offer refunds at any time on retail or classes.

STUDIO CANCELLATIONS + HOLIDAYS

  • Classes may be cancelled due to inclement weather or an emergency.
  • Two-Hour School Delay = no morning classes / Schools Closes = BLY Closed 
  • Blooming Life Yoga reserves the right to cancel a class under appropriate circumstances. A teacher may cancel a class if he or she is alone with one person of the opposite sex.
  • Any cancellation will be posted as soon as we can on MindBodyOnline, our website, Facebook, and a door posting. 
  • On holidays, one special class may be held.
  • Always check the living schedule for updates.
